Real Madrid chairman Florentino Perez has already signed Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo and coach Manuel Pellegrini, but his want list is far from becoming empty. The next signing will be Valencia striker David Villa.

With both Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo in the team, coach Manuel Pellegrini could pick the 4-2-3-1 system to accomodate the talented duo. However, 4-4-2 is also a possibility since it is Pellegrini's preferred system (although that choice will also be up to Kaka - i.e. if he will agree to play upfront next to a centre-forward). Whether it will be 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-2, what the coach still needs are two wingbacks, one central defender, an additional winger, a playmaker and a defensive midfielder. That is why Perez and Pellegrini have their sights on the following players :

Defenders :

Nemanja Vidic (Manchester United) or John Terry (Chelsea) or Raul Albiol (Valencia)or Gonzalo Rodriguez or Diego Godin (Villarreal).

Maicon (Inter Milan) or Jose' Bosingwa (Chelsea).

Franck Ribery (Bayern Munich) or David Silva (Valencia).

Xabi Alonso (Liverpool) or Cesc Fabregas (Arsenal).

David Villa (Valencia, who is almost signed).

A) Among the current Real Madrid players, these are remaining :

Goalkeeper Iker Casillas, defenders Sergio Ramos, Marcelo and Ezequiel Garay (who has just returned from Racing Santander), midfielders Lassana Diarra, Dani Parejo, Javi Garcia and forward Raul.

With the arrival of David Villa, club legend Raul will become a sub. Therefore, goalkeeper Iker Casillas will be named new captain.

If Maicon or Jose' Bosingwa will be signed, Sergio Ramos will play in the centre of defence.
