*"Breathing In Your Sleep" and "Remedy" are songs that I wrote on the guitar and recorded with my dear friend Anno Birkin. He was my guitar player as well and we were going to record my new record when he passed away in a car crash 2 years ago. He was 20 years old. He wrote thousands of pages of poetry as well as having his own band (3 members of it died in the crash with him). After his death, his father Andrew Birkin published a book of his poetry called Who Says the Race is Over?, most of which he wrote at the time that he and I first met... We were incredibly close and he really represents everything pure and beautiful to me in my life now... Of course perfection weighs too heavily on this earth to survive very long before the ground on which it stands breaks and shatters away... You can see his work at

neko case - to vam je djevojka, o boze, zena i z the new pornographers. ima sjajan album blacklisted i jedan malo manje sjajan tigers have spoken. a ove godine je izdala novi. dakle, nesto kao antifolk onako kako je antifolk definisan prije nego sto se freakfolk pojavio. ima glas samo takav. uh. uh. uh.

frog eyes - u poplavi bendova iz kanade, frog eyes nikako nisu se previse istakli, nisu ih favorizovali, ali oni su the real thing. oni su vam nesto kao wolf parade + xiu xiu. lik poludi u svakoj pjesmi koju odpjeva. jos jedan dokaz da je in the aeroplane over the sea jebeni najuticjaniji album ikada. meni je njegov best album folded palm. od furioznog pocetka (prve tri pjesme su oko minutu i po) pa do ruskih bobica, sve je... puno. wolf parade na spidu. zamislite to!!!

da li treba jos jednom da kazem da je novi album liarsa !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! nevjerovatan.

calexico su kao post rock country. ne. to je post country. oni su prilicno veseo post rock. za razliku od drugih.
