I have Windows 7 64Bit (HP). Checked Generals as well as Zero Hour – both run fine!
Here’s the Complete Idiots guide with unnecessarily lengthy details to getting it right, my only hope is that you find it sufficiently condescending.
Make two Directories (same Drive) for installation –
1) Command and Conquer Generals
2) Command and Conquer Zero Hour
STEP 1. Download the files in this torrent
STEP 2. Download a software called “Daemon-Tools”. Go to this site for getting it
http://www.daemon-tools.cc/eng/downloads. Select the FREE version.
STEP 3. Mount Generals1.mdf with daemon tools (just double click on Generals1.mdf). Go to Drive where it is mounted in my case it was BD-ROM Drive (G:) and click on “setup”. The installation process will start.
I used this Key - 3832-8938183-6383078-0037
STEP 4. During the installation process you’ll be asked to insert Disc 2 – at this point mount (double click) Generals2.mdf. Click OK.
NOTE – Install this game in Directory 1.
STEP 5. Once you’r done installing Generals mount (double click) GeneralsZH1.mdf and install Zero Hour in Directory 2 by clicking on “setup”.
I used this Key - 64UU-HJLH-PJCK-M7AK-KUE9
STEP 6. Just like before, when asked mount GeneralsZH2.mdf and continue with the installation process.
STEP 7. After this is done take the generals-zh-v104en_update file and open it (I used WinZip). Once you open it extract the files into the Drive where the installation Directories for the games are. Double click “GeneralsZH-104-english” – the update will be taken care of.
STEP 8. Open the generals-zh-v104_crack (I used WinZip) and extract all the files to Game Directory 2 – this is the one where you installed Zero Hour. When asked select “copy & replace”.
STEP 9. Look at STEP 3. It’s after STEP 2 and before STEP 4. Once you’ve mounted Generals1.mdf you will see that there is a “Crack” folder among the files. Copy all the four files in this folder and paste them in Directory 1(this was where you installed C&C Generals). Again – select “copy and replace” when prompted.
AND WE ARE SET!!
My friend......Step 9.......i can't find crack folder into among the generals1 mounted.
