Sigurno ste culi za taj dogadjaj, jer je najavljivan u medijima, ako niste pogledajte ovo, tj. gospodjicu PR Goranu Celner koja je maksimalno iskoristila medijsko vreme da taj dogadjaj predstavi:
Veliki broj srpskih fanova pitao se zasto na sajtu Sonate Arctice ne stoji datum za Nis, iako taj bend objavljuje datume koncerata unapred, sa svim neophodnim informacijama. Da bih dosla do tacnih podataka, kontaktirala sam menazment benda u Nemackoj i dobila sledeci odgovor:

talks with the festival a few months ago, but never agreed on confirming the
band to play this event. We have contacted the festival promoter to clear
this misunderstanding.
Nekoliko minuta kasnije stize mi mejl od izvesnog gospodina Anttija iy Finske, koji se, kako je u pismu naveo skoro 50 godina bavi organizacijom koncerata. Iz sadrzaja tog maila vec se otkriva da je festival „prevara u najavi“ i da niko od najavljenih headlinera nece nastupiti.

I have been asked last autumn by my Serbian contact - Mr. Lubomir Petkovic from Oslo - to contract for the Nis-festival WHITESNAKE, THE SCORPIONS, HANOI ROCKS and SONATA ARCTICA. The festivals cam up with good offers, but in the end no monies have moved. In January we had to give up both WHITESNAKE and THE SCORPIONS as the festival promised to send all monies on the 17th of January and nothing happened. Then we gave up with these two headliners and their British agent was angry like hell, of course.
We kept the two Finnish bands alive for a couple of months, but in spite of promises like "next week we´ll pay", nothing ever happened and I came to the undestanding with both bands that we´ll forget it. Lubomir Petkovic told them that they cannot advertise these two bands anymore and I have seen some lists from the festival where they have removed both of these. It comes as a shock to me that they still keep these two Finnish bands on their ads. Gerald Wilkes sent me an e-mail about this today and I forwarded it to Lubomir asking him to contact some media in Serbia to correct this.
Obviously these Nis-people are total amateurs and also totally non-responsible of honouring any contracts and any payments. Sorry to say, but these people are responsible for ruining a lot of credibility of the Serbian business. The show business is in the end a small world and the word spreads around.
During my 50 years in the business and promoting everybody from Frank Sinatra to The Rolling Stones, I have never come across anything like this.

Datum za Nis biva ubrzo sklonjen i sa sajta Hanoi Rocks-a, a PR nastavlja da se oglasava po medijima i forumima i tvrdi da ce svi ti bendovi svirati. Potencijalna publika trazi cvrsce dokaze o postojanju ovog festvala i dobija ih na sajtu Sonate Arctice u ponedeljak 19. maja:

Despite rumours and announcements to the contrary, Sonata Arctica are NOT going to play at Adria Rock Festival in Niš/Serbia on May 29th 2008.

Thanks for the heads up. Eric Burdon and the Animals will not be
performing in Serbia on May 30.
We'll post something to that effect so as to quell the rumors.
Please send me any addititonal information about the festival and who is

Na kraju, u zelji da saznam jos vise, kontaktiram i italijanski bend The Foreshadowing i dobijam sledeci odgovor:

Purtroppo si sta profilando anche per noi un bel problema, è da una settimana che non ricevo risposte da parte dei "promoter" di questo festival con l'aggravante che noi siamo stati così STUPIDI da anticipare in buona fede le spese per i voli aerei per raggiungere il festival.
Ora ci ritroviamo con 1200 euro di voli non rimborsati e senza sapere cosa fare.
Sto riscrivendo per l'ennesima volta al nostro "promoter", tale Sanja Ignjatovic, ma mi aspetto il peggio.
Dato che ormai non possiamo neanche disdire i voli aerei, ci ritroveremmo nell'assurda situazione di venire a belgrado a vuoto e stare lì 4 giorni senza nessun concerto.
Sto provando a contattare gli organizzatori del Legacy Festival di Belgrado che si svolge in quei stessi giorni per provare magari a suonare lì senza nessun rimborso. Almeno daremmo un senso al danno economico che si prospetta per noi.
Abbiamo peccato di buona fede purtroppo e pare che la dovremo scontare..

Sta da ti kazemo, hvala puno za poruku i pomoc. Nazalost i nama se stvara prilicno veliki problem jer vec nedelju dana ne dobijam odgovore od strane promotera tog festivala, a otezavajuca okolnost je da smo mi sami bili toliko glupi da anticipiramo nadajuci se dobrom (s verom u dobro) troskove leta avionom da bismo dosli na festival. Sada smo sa 1200 evra u minusu za avionske karte koje nam uplatili i ne znamo sta da radimo.
Ponovo po ko zna koji put pisem nasem promoteru, izvesnoj Sanji Ignjatovic, ali ocekujem najgore.
Posto vise ne mozemo ni da otkazemo avionske letove, nalazimo se u apsurdnoj situaciji da dolazimo bezveze u Beograd i da tu budemo 4 dana a da nemamo nikakav koncer.
Pokusavam da kontaktiram organizatore beogradskog Legacy festivala koji se odrzava istih tih dana da probamo makar da sviramo bez ikakve nadoknade. Bar cemo dati smisao novcanom gubitku koji nam je nagovesten.
Pogresili smo u dobroj nameri nazalost i cini se da moramo zbog toga da ispastamo.
Kao sto se ocekivalo, konferencija za novinare koju je trebalo da odrze organizatori tog famoznog festa danas, u utorak 20. maja, biva otkazana, a sta ce se dalje desavati, zakljucite sami, ako imate zelju i volju da istrazujete.
